Replacing the MFTS

how clean are the wires that connect to the MFTS? I had a problem where I
replaced the old one it worked (thats didn't work) just like before. My old
one was also leaking. I pulled it apart and gave it a good cleaning.
Probably could have still used the old one. Just ask Bernie!
