PS wheel bearing

I was wondering if he had the same issue with different tyres / wheels.   I'm aware of the difference in offset causing my bearing to groan.
I can't see why simply changing a tyre of the same size / make would cause bearing groan.  Could it just be bad timing and it was going to go anyway?  You could swap it with another corner on the car to make sure it isn't that specific tyre making all the noise.

You’re basically right, Ed. Has nothing to do with the tire or wheel  
excepting the wheel’s offset. i.e. where the center of force is  
applied relative to the center of the double row ball wheel bearing,  
not the center of the car.
