Urgent Gear oil question update

Hi,
I went to thew local VW dealer and got the gear oil for $21 per liter. I put
in alomst 2 liters and found the area of the leak. It was leaking from the
passenger axle somewhere behind the heat shield. Joy, another expensive
leak! Next project is discovered.
