Check the crankcase breather system- if the crankcase becomes  
pressurized, this reportedly can cause oil to blow out through the  
distributor.  The hose could be collapsed, for example- they degrade  
with age and eventually turn to a squishy mess that folds in on  
itself. There's also a copper squiggle flash arrestor, and two valves  
(one is by the passenger side corner of the head- a 90 degree plastic  
jobbie with a flat-top head.)

Once you figure out what's causing it, take off the cap and degrease  
it and the rotor.
