okay, i lied - one more question ;-)

will audi still honor the bose recall? according to ian gall, who checked
out the car before me - he said the bose amps are still the pre-recall ones.

i know the bose stereo sucks - but i'm not much of a car audiophile - if the
recall makes the amps work (the rear speakers don't work currently - i
assume because the amps are POS) - i'm fine with the existing stereo.

i do have a $300 clarion deck from the SHO i could put in place - but i
assume i'd have to ditch the bose speakers being it looks like the amps are
integral to the rear speakers?
