omens ???

I was greeted this morning by a black cat sitting on my pearl avant hood
and a 5' long black snake on my bumper. (I don't have any pets).  So the
cat was kinda friendly and sat and watched me try to remove the snake.
As I grabbed it, it slithered in between the bumper and the grill, I had
a good hold on it but I couldn't pull it out, I had the tail about 10"
from the end.  I pulled hard on the thing and it wouldn't budge so
finally I let it go.  When I opened the hood and jacked it up I couldn't
find it.  I got fed up so I just drove to work.  If anyone has had a
similar experience as to where to find a 5' long snake in the front of
the car please chime in......I think it might be inside the bumper as
it's kinda hollow.   Any thoughts appreciated.
