Or, if you're intelligent about it, grab a vacuum hand pump and apply  
a vacuum to the line to the fuel pressure regulator.  That'll dump  
most of the stored pressure.

The phrase "don't be a wussy about it" in the context of fuel systems  
is very poor advice.
