UFO brake question

Lubing the guide pins is key on any caliper....i always have more issues
with the rear calipers. i never replaced my ufos because of thickness
spec or warpage always because they rusted from the inside out...it was
usually the outer edge would start to deteriorate and the rust would
creep down the edge of the rotor....i actually just took two sets of
ufos and some other rotors and a bunch of scrap metal along with my 72
gmc stepside (3on the tree linkage broke) to the recycler....they had
pretty much rusted so the whole face of the rotor fell off. Now I have
mikes old g60s :-(

....by the way, I will be putting a new front end on your old avant
this month (deer hunting)...my friend was parting out a pearl sedan from
cali so I took the front fenders and hood...i may even fix the damage
you did to it in the back and the rear quarter....i guess it depends on
how close the pearlys are. I wailed on it this ski season but didn't
make it up to maine this year..too bad you guys had a great
year.....sugarloaf just closed last weekend

New seals for what, the piston seal? I've assumed that you had
disassembled, cleaned the caliper piston and bore, and therefore don't
need new piston seals. I don't know of a replaceable seal for the guide
pins. Keep focused on the real problem?
