radiator temp switch

Guys-
Bought a new radiator water temp thermo switch (or whatever you call it -
lower rad - tells fan when to come on) - anyway the part I had in there was
321 959 481 D - GREY housing with degrees in C stamped 95 and 102.  New
switch - I couldn't for some reason find it in TFA - relied on the parts
place - usually good - and got part number 191 959 481 C - he told me the
part had been lots of supersedes.  _BLACK_ housing but did have same temp in
C imprinted - 95 and 102.  I guess I just want to see if the change in
housing color should be a concern.  Usually the different color temp senders
mean different temp range - and I don't want my fan to be fighting the 87C
t-stat - but like I said the indicated temps were the same....    
 
Anybody using this same P/N or recently replaced this part?
