Temperature gauge

Any one ever bought just the temperature gauge? Where, for how much?  
Or does anyone have an spare IC that could be a donor of a temp gauge??

We had the IC out last week but could not find a new crack in the IC  
anywhere, or corrosion, etc. around the gauge. (The original jumpers  
I did 60,000 miles ago to fix the standard problems are still fine.)  
After putting the IC back in the car, the gauge has been intermittent  
again (it had totally died a few months ago) but I need to do  
something better before winter. The sensor tested good, again-- so I  
need to try now with another gauge.
