I started the car this morning, rpm bouncing all over again, backfire and all. I drove off with the rpm bounce for about 20 minutes, having to drive 2 gears higher to keep it under 2000 rpm and be able to drive without the car shaking too much. Then it died like usual, no start. I waited for 5 minutes, started the car, and them just by the sound of it I knew it was back to normal... I drove off the side of the road, car is back to normal, perfect condition... It did die once on me, but restarted 5 minutes later and was still ok after the incident. I called the shop, they have no clue, but I will try a spare ECU adn try to find a used MAF in case. JF 91 200 tqa
