Well, I got in contact with Jorgen Automotive, and they quoted me ~$175 for a rack minus core charge. 

That is by far the cheapest price I have stumbled upon in my little steering rack adventure. I'm definitely not looking forward to this little beast of a job though : /

It just takes time and a little space...neither of which I have at the moment. Paying a mech to do it isn't an option because I like to use things like this as a learning experience for my own good, and because college kicks my wallet's ass.
