I thought the girling capilers were named for the cylinder size, where
the g60s were 60mm (upgraded from the g54s,54mm which came on the early
urq
etc.)

I was able to locate Boxter S Brembo caliper spec: a pair of 40mm and a
pair of 36mm pistons.

I have measured and compared the CSAs of both systems. They are
identical.
You can have either of the two backing plate styles refilled with the
material of your chioce. So, what's yout bitch?
