Oil in the coolant

I say no no no to putting Silicon caulk on the head gasket! Anaerobic
sealant, ok, but with the newer head gaskets, you should not need anything.
As for the oil in the coolant, drain the coolant and try again. You may have
some left over oil contaminating the system from when the head was last off.
Did you look at the plugs? Do you see any steam out the tail pipe at cold
start? Did you pressure test the cooling system? Compression test cylinders?
Do the easy stuff before you pull the head. Word to the wise....
