drill small holes in the base of the spring perch to allow water to
drain.  When water pools there then freezes, the seals on the base of
the strut insert can blow, then the strut insert oil will leak, and the
insert will be trashed.

i'd go for bilstein HD's. i have koni yellows and H&R springs - the
koni's are=20
already getting soft on the front - and they only have about 30k on

My suspension is stock, with Konis. Negative camber neutralized by a =20
combo of moving strut top outboard as far as possible by filing =20
mounting holes in tower top, and adding a strut brace. The latter is =20
the best chassis mod that you could make for the track. See my design =20
posted to this list many years ago.
