Idle Adjust Screw

He may be talking about the adjustment on the dampener.
That's the plunger that keeps the throttle from closing too quickly.
Obviously it should not be used to adjust the idle.
That is a M8, however it is not the standard thread pitch.
It is M8 x 1.00
