Snow tires

David-
I think you will find a 165 tire cuts a lot better in the snow (not to
mention a heck of a lot cheaper). I've run 195/60 snows on my 3B and I
greatly prefer the "cut" that the thinner 165 tire makes. Car turns better
and slides less. Now this was powdery fresh east coast snow, and packed ice
may be another story.
I would still debate that the thiner tire creates more force per area on a
medium which you want compression.
My 2cents from Hawaii ;)
