Stolen Ignition Key

Richard,

I don't know by which magic they use, but I have seen keys made on the spot with no
information on key code. They insert some special lock picks in and determine the cut.
A good locksmith should be able to do this.

I had my ignition key stolen yesterday... Where did Audi place the key code
for the ignition key? Can it be found on the driver's or passenger's door
lock. My search for a solid answer proves illusive. Now, I think I'll have
to drill out the ignition lock/cylinder.
