My feeling is the oem stuff is high performance.  Sorry you are having issues, there should be plenty of quality used parts out there since folks have been harvesting the engines.

Let me put it this way.
Car is low mileage, but still 19 years old..
Say that again to yourself.

Then think less about the money that you have put into it, and more 
of how much getting a newer car with the same performance would cost. 
Also realize that you can buying a used car is a risk, and you need 
to thoroughly inspect the entire car, even then you won't know if the 
clutch slave or clutch master could fail tomorrow...

If you want a dependable daily driver, do all the maintenance with 
factory or oem quality parts and skip the high performance stuff.
The high performance equipment will sooner or later expose something 
basic that needs attention - like bushings, bearings, seals, etc.

You need to decide....
