Trials and tribulations of owning 3 Audis

The P.O. contacted me to inform me the steam under the hood
of the 200 shouldn't be the heater core, as he just replaced
it.

I just got word from the mechanic (well known in Audifan circles,
and who knows the PO) that it is the heater core. Short term
solution is to by-pass the heater core and get the car inspected.
If it fails inspection for some expensive reason, then it might
not make sense to repair the heater core (again). Tomorrow will
tell.

And then we'll move on to getting the V8 inspected.

On a related note, which I forgot in the first posting, when I
got my A4 back from a successful state safety inspection, after
I parked it I noticed some white smoke wafting up from the
passenger side sill. I wasn't in a mood to investigate.

For me, I'm thinking 3 Audis is 3 too many.
