Loose ball bearings by flywheel?

Nick,
There was also something wrong with your clutch release (throw out)  
bearing to have caused the pressure plate spring fingers to  
excessively wear in such short mileage. (Mine going strong at 225K.)
When engaged the fingers are in contact with the hard flat face of  
the TO bearing and should drive that bearing face at engine speed,  
without slippage and resultant wear. Hope that you also changed out  
this bearing.
