Frequency Valve installation

Hi all;
Quick question; after reassembling all my intercooler hoses, bypass valve
and freq. valve, I realized I don't remember which way the Frequency Valve
goes back in.  I installed mine with the electrical connector pointing to
the right side (or passenger side) of the car.  Is this the correct
direction, or should it be turned around with the electrical connector
pointing at the left side of the car?
Also, does hooking it up backwards and driving hurt anything?
