Curses! Sell or hold?

I'm right there with you, Chi.

In my case the girlfriend has moved in and her Prius has appropriated a
garage spot, bumping my GTI 16v outside which doesn't help the now-peeling
clearcoat. It also blocks the 200 from moving, unless there is premeditation
(I hate just cold-starting cars to move them 20 feet). Both my cars are
still quite driveable and run very well, w/eurolights, Bilsteins, good
converted A/C, winter wheels w/studs. I just don't drive much with my 3-mile
commute where I ride my bike unless it's raining/snowing; and now the Prius
is fine for trips to the grocery store. Perhaps a 2.0T avant w/stick would
"compromise" between the 200's quattro and sedan-ness, and GTI's hatchback
versatility - and get back to less driveway/garage crowding...only problem
is selling both my cars will not get me very far towards a B7. AKA, "I've
ridden the depreciation curve all the way down, now what?" I'm stuck and
can't get up, that's what. I do really like not having car payments, though.

1991 200q, chipped but a few door dings, sitting in the garage on trickle
charger, does need new summer tires
1988 GTI 16v, noticed this week that the passenger sun visor clip broke from
old age/vibration
