Which rear shocks for '91 Avant?

I am looking to replace the rear shocks on my '91 200 20v Avant. I have seen
occasional commentary here on the subject but would like a refresher opinion
from recent experience. I am looking for a standard ride and perhaps a
somewhat sporty control. I have looked at the Bilstein sports and a few
others, and also need ideas on who to buy from..
