don't know about the bucking - but if you experience "practically no difference"
with the last 3/4ths of throttle travel - i'd check the WGFV and believe it or
not, look for corroded ecu ground wires.
javad and the boys at 034 were getting so pissed at my car because it would blow
off past 6 lbs of boost (and it has an 034 stage I chipset) that they were
nearly ready to cap off the N75 and put a stiffer spring in the wastegate.
turned out to be the corroded ecu ground wires.

I've been chasing a miss under boost in the higher gears for a while. Perhaps
miss is not the correct term - Bad stumble or bucking. Don't see it in 1st -3rd,
appears in 4th and is pretty bad in 5th. Anything over about 1.4 bar will cause
it. I also see max boost at about 1/4 throttle. There is practically no
difference in performance the last 3/4ths of throttle travel. Seems to be a
little better when the engine is cold and in colder temps. Car will pull redline
in 3rd.
Thoughts?

My 200 also, still has the misfire I wrote about back in early July with
subject "plastic distributor gear". My mechanic had to give up trying to
figure out why. The distributor and engine speed sensor were replaced but
problem continues. So it is back in my garage; I have a weeks vacation
coming up to monkey with it.
Everything is fine until RPMs reach 3000; then misfire. No codes. Can the
VAG-Com detect other issues besides codes? Like the symptoms of the
misfire.
BTW, I just bought a new VAG-Com for just over $400 for my own use on my 3
Audis. Plus my daughter has a 10 year old VW Passat, so I hope to put it to
good use.
Just wondering.
