Hard warm start.......

You might have a failing fuel pump check valve. When mine failed years
ago it would always cold start, but would take several minuets to start
after the car had been shut off for 1/2 hour. You can carefully test to see if
you still have fuel pressure by loosening a fuel line after the car has
been shut off long enough to trigger your problem. If no fuel squirts out,
it is likely the check valve. Not a terrible job if you have the fuel pump
wrench and en empty fuel tank.
Good luck.

After all my bragging about the reliability and longevity of my'91 20 valve
it has began resisting starting when warm. Cold, it fires right up and
idles
just right. Warm, it cranks and cranks and if I goose the gas and fiddle
with it, it will start rough and then runs just fine immediately. I did
recently clean the Idle stabilizer valve with carb cleaner, and wonder if
the juice got to the electrics. I haven't yet checked the valve for
continuity but thought a ping here might help.
Any BTDT.....
