For what it's worth, a very viable option may be to upgrade the stock lites to HID, I recently did the upgrade to my 98 jetta TDI which rivaled the 200s for worst lites in history. I installed a package for $150 which included digital slim ballasts, wiring harness, & bulbs. Super easy install, plug and play for that setup. The difference is literally nite and day. Best $150 I ever spent on an auto. The only weird thing is that for the brites the setup is an electromagnet that changes the angle of the bulb, there is no other bulb, or filament, same lumens etc but just angled higher down the road, so the total draw is like 35w per lite regardless. Very very very happy customer.

Subject: round lights?
Folks,
Just exploring an wild-hair idea I've been thinking about...
anyone here ever tried, or heard of anyone trying to fit a quad round light set up to a 20V?
Round e-code lights are easy to source and cheap.
I suppose all that is needed are headlight buckets that would be mountable since most of my fancy trim is in tatters anyway.
I just realized that the turn signals could be a problem.
Just curious if there is any experience out there.
