>Hi Guys,

>This is my first post on this list, and my first problem big enough to stump me completely. I just replaced the battery splice in my avant two weeks ago . The next day, my starter went out, so I replaced that and my battery. Once I got all that settled, I had a voltage issue that plagued me for a week. The contact between the voltage regulator and alternator was filthy, so I would have a pulsating electrical system. It affected everything, fuel pump, lights, blower fans, windows. I got that issue taken care of, but during the week that the voltage was surging...a whole set of issues came up.

>My passenger was playing with his seat, and blew the fuse, so I replaced it. I also replaced fuse 1 which I believe controls foglights and other accessories. Since then, my ABS light would come on if I had the car in reverse, opened the door, or kept the headlights off. My differential lock switch is not lighting, or doing anything. I have no reverse lights either. Also, when the car is running and I open/close the door, my interior light delay seems to be way longer than normal. It takes a good minute after the doors close to get the lights to shut off. Also, my windshield washer fluid warning light is coming on at random times (tank is full), and my windshield washer jets are not working at times.

>The light delay unit, ABS light, and diff lock all seem to be closely related in the diagrams, but I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to track this one down. I think thats all the issues I have....but I guess thats enough for now.
