I had a set for a while a few years ago on my 91 200q. They were ok in the snow, but I usually run snow tires. No idea on longetivity as I laid down over 125 ft of skid marks stopping for 3 deer and flat spotted them with at least 60% tread left.

Subject: All Season Tires
Any listers with experience running Continental ExtremeContact DWS on
their Audi? In the fall I'll have to replace the Michellin Pilot
Sports and I'm looking for an all-season tires with a strong winter
bias since I drive 2K plus a month during the winter season. This
will be our first full winter in VT, earlier we were in Manhattan.
I'd prefer to avoid running snow tires since I'll be doing a lot of
driving primarily to destinations south of VT (NY, CT and NJ) and 25K
plus a year. By the time the Michellins are are taken off the 200 20
V, they'll have lasted about 55K. The Pilot Sports were decent in the
winter but I'd like a little better snow/ice traction. I know that a
lot of Audi owners in my area run Blizzacks and couldn't be happier.
However I'm not keen on buying another set of wheels or swapping out
the tires on the 16 inch wheels currently mounted on the '91. Thanks
in advance.
Scott
