Robert,
Have you personally verified that new amplifier boards have actually
been installed? Read the service bulletin. It says that if amplifier is
soldered then do nothing and mark it done.

hi all,
as stated before, my 2002q20v is not my daily driver but i decided to take it to work today. while on my 30 mile drive, i figured it would be a perfect time to leave the radio on being it's stuck in safe mode. however, i started hearing a click coming from one of the rear speakers. you could set your watch to it - it wasn't random.
so, given all the odd crap that goes on with the bose system (like catching fire ;-), i decided to turn it off.
both rear amps are new replacements from the recall. the speakers are fine. what the hell is that clicking sound?
Regards,
Robby
