Recommended Mechanics in Kansas City

The best I found for anything I couldn't handle was Mike Showengerdt at
Importmasters.  He did some work on my 200 20V back in 2005 - his shop on
Cherry Street was full of coupes and 20Vs and 200 V8s.  Kind of a "knarly"
dude, and won't win any congeniality awards, but very knowledgeable.

There was another guy, can't recall his name, an employee at the Audi dealer
in KC south - just east of the 35, who knows them - went to his house one
day as he let me borrow the timing belt replacement tools - he had a coupe
(I think) in his garage in pieces.  Maybe you could give the dealer a call
and ask them about one of their mechanic's expertise in 20Vs.  The dealer
was located near the exit at the Baron BMW and the Aristocrat Motors (Range
Rover) dealer.
