Bernie will tell you the sensors are symptoms of the fat wallet syndrome: 
The brakes will tell you when the pad material is gone.

My concern with non-OEM pad material is greater rotor wear.  Harder pads
may equal shorter rotor life.  I'd rather buy more pads than rotors.

Or you could by my two V8s with UFOs and I'll throw in some new pads.

I'm just looking for some feedback on the Mintex Red Box vs Jurid (OEM).
Also, is there another/cheaper option to get the front pads and wear
sensors?
