no start 1991 TQ 20v frustrations continue

I did manage to release the distributor cap, and confirm the rotor is 
turning, but getting the 2 metal clips back into position proved too much 
for me.  Do you need to remove the intake manifold to see what you are 
doing, or is it all by blind touch?
