Naw!  Mines got 238k on it.  Drives me nuts at times, however  driving a Honda 
would drive me nuts all the time.
 
Next one (when I can afford it) will be a 2002-2003 S6.
Fuel pump ( I have two Avant's and been in there many times) is pretty  strait 
forward , buy the tool!
 
Just make sure you look closely at how the sending unit wire and float go  back 
in.  Long story short, last time I was in there I put it in the wrong  place, 
when the gauge got to 1/4, float got hung up on the fuel line and I ran  out of 
gas.  I have not done the conversion to the new style pump (found a  stock one 
about 6 years ago.  Should take 1-1 1/2 hours with at an easy  pace.
