Poor running 3B

[HJS]

Im still having NO luck with this issue. I checked all my hoses, pipes, lines 
etc. This thing still runs insanely rich when idling. Im at a loss. 


The only things left in question:
-MAF.  It SEEMS Ok to the look but who knows. I havent seen any specifics on how 
to test it, even on SJM's page. If you have any pointers, Im all ears.

-FPR.  If I disconnect the vacuum line to it and suck on it, I taste gas (not 
liquid, but a strong gas taste) which I dont think I should. I can also keep 
sucking where I would think it should stop after a bit, right? Doesnt that mean 
the diaphragm might be torn? not sure. Other than thost things, Im totally 
totally stumped. I have a friend coming over tomorrow with vag-com, hopefully 
that will shed some light.

  I vote for checking the vacuum hose to the ECU. It sounds like you may be lean 
under boost and rich off boost.
