91 Avant wiper arm needed...

I found a small work around. It seems to be working right now. I was thinking of trying to cut the ends of the springs and reweld them but I don't think you can very reliably weld spring steel. What I found is that there is a small hook that the springs attach to. I was able to bend the hook more in order to shorten it some. It doesn't take much. So far it seems to have given enough extra tension to help. It is a little hard to pull and reattach the springs, but not impossible. I would use safety glasses though as they can fly. Bernie recommended adding extra springs. I may try this as well.
thanks
Craig

The passenger side wiper has way more tension against the windshield than the driver side. In slushy conditions it is next to impossible to see out. Any help would be appreciated.
