200 3B breather / vacuum hoses needed.

I'll check the parts list, but for some reason every time I look there (Audifans.com) I see the: "parts, cars, wanted", but I never get a list if I pick the parts option.
I usually can see "wanted" and cars.....................but I WANT PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)
Does anyone have the breather hoses / tees and cluster behind the head against the firewall area?
I have a 034 silicone block breather hose but it has an extra trunk line (AAN maybe?) and we need the OEM rubber lines past that behind the head.
TIA!

This car has been relayed, and the bulb failure warning light is lit.
Which pin on the relay do I bend out of the way?
Thanks, John

Not sure of every state, of course. But, here in Massachusetts, to obtain a
"salvage title" the rebuilt car must undergo a "safety inspection" by the
State Police. As with all such government mandated inspections, results
vary. Outcome may be determined by the rebuilder's reputation (rebuilding
"totals" is a significant, but small, industry. Most participants are known) to
the inspectors mood. I have heard of complete junk being passed, and "good
jobs" rejected because of a single missing bolt. I believe value is
reduced significantly more than the 10-15% suggested.

I know it is elsewhere, maybe even with pix, but this:
http://www.humanspeakers.com/audi/lighting-90.htm#autocheck
is basically the process.

Remove the headlamp bulb monitor ( aka warning relay) and bend pin "K" 90
degrees so when you reinsert it into its socket pin K no longer makes any
contact. This prevents the ground signal from being sent to the Cluster. :)
100/200 has the monitor in the relay rack behind the drivers knee pad, V8
has it located in the pass floorboard relay rack. It looks like a big
double
relay and each pin is clearly labeled on the bottom of the monitor.

Evening, y'all!
Well, after replacing the fuel pump and that not having any effect on
the running of my car (the mechanic said the old one was making
hellacious noises though... it was a Walbro unit that was way too small
for the application and is now replaced with a Bosch OEM unit), I think
I found my problem. After talking to someone who knows about
distributors and such, I found out that the carbon brush in the cap
that's supposed to contact the rotor and transmit the spark is gone!
All this frustration over something the size of my thumbnail!
Autozone has both the cap and rotor for less than 20 dollars. Anyone
have any good or bad feedback on Duralast parts? I'd rather replace
with Bosch OEM parts right now, but I am short on cash so I need
something to get me by.
Thanks in advance,
Vincent

Thank you for the prompt response. At this point, I think anything is
better than an el-cheapo cap without a brush lol. The problems can't
get much worse, as I had to have the car towed a mile from the garage home.

Hard to say. I have never used anything but bosch, and frankly, have not seen a
distributor in a decade!
That said, NAPA parts are generally very good. For example, their "gold" filters
are WIX - much better than bosch.
So you might try NAPA.
And yes, an open circuit has negative effect on spark :-)

I've got a '99 A6 that's not getting any heat. I had the heater core flushed
last year that helped some but only for a short period of time but before the
winter was over I was getting no heat again. The shop said I needed a new
heater core. Forgot all about it then as from March to November unless it's
raining I'm on my bike not in the car. Just took the car to a different shop
and they say the core is not blocked. They say water pump is not pumping
enough to meet the needs of the engine cooling system and still push
coolant through the heater core unless the motor is turning at least 2,000 to
2,500 rpm, which it almost never does in local driving. With the motor at
proper temps, reving it in idle to 2,500 rpm did get hot air out of the heater
vents. The water pump had been replaced 35,000 miles ago when the
timing belt was changed. Does this make sense, that the water pump is the
cause of the lack of heat?
