I'm doing this soon (very?) with a 3b, so I'm curious as to the solution.
Have you looked at the ABY guide off S2central.net ==>
http://www.s2central.net/S2_Schematics/ABY_Wiring.pdf

Seems to show every connection you'll need.  It does document several errors
in the factory wiring diagram.
