Turbo noise

Hey guys;
When my '91 200 is cold, and for the first five or so minutes of running,
the turbo is making a whining kind of noise at idle, and light
throttle/coasting . Sounds different than normal turbo whine, slightly
lower pitched. It goes away as soon as the engine has run for a bit.
Obviously, it is winter and very cold, so I'm wondering if this is just
related to being in very cold temperatures, like single digits or teens?
But it's never done it before, so I'm a little worried.
I have looked at the intake side of the turbo within the last six months to
a year, and it looked great and spun just fine, FWIW.
The car is stock except for the ecu which was chipped by Ben Swann.
Any thoughts? If the turbos going bad, any thoughts on what/where for a
replacement?
Thanks!
Dave Sexton
