Just buy the plastic they use to clear shield bumpers, hoods etc. You can get 

sheets(or rolls) and cut them yourself or have someone do it. It's the same 

concept as stone guard. They offer different thicknesses also.

 I presently have stone guard on my euro lens, however, it's a bit old and not 

sticking well. I've clear silicone glued it in places to keep it intact but I'd 

like to replace it with new if possible. I've had no luck finding a source for 

new. Anyone know of a source? I've thought about, once winter recedes, to take 

the old off, remove the old stick-um and re-glue them.
