Factory Alarm / Keyless Entry via the harness

Hey 200q20v'ers,

I just re-did the door lock linkage on both sides of my 200q20v (I bought the updated cylinders and arms, only to find out what was broken on both sides was the plastic retainer on the arms to the linkage, which didn't come with what I bought, lol).

I see how the factory alarm is armed/disarmed by way of the geared sensor driven by the lock arm. If I want to put in keyless entry, I'm thinking it should be possible to send a signal through the two wires on the sensor to replicate the motion of the lock cylinder.

Does anyone know if this is possible and what signal is required?

I've seen a setup where an aftermarket electric actuator acted on the linkage to lock/unlock the doors, but not only is that redundant to the vacuum actuators, it makes it even harder to turn the key and there's enough resistance already.

Thanks,

Kenneth
