UFO brake conversion

Even thought the UFOs are so unique and expensive, each time I considered
swapping them over to regular discs, the monetary analysis always seemed to
favor looking for a used UFO disc in good condition and keeping the system.
The UFO discs do seem to last much longer than the regular discs, and if you
can live with the inability top have them turned smooth...they still work
great when you hit the brakes hard.
I eventually rebuilt one of front calipers myself when it sprung a leak at
250k+....and it was much easier to rebuild than the rears since those have
the handbrake actuator......
Hunt around for good used set, there are some that appear from time to
time...else you can still get them new for around $200-250 each,
Alan
