UFO conversion

I am the original owner of my 91 200Q 20V and had Audi do the conversion under warranty when the car developed warped rotors at speed. Vehicle had only 5000 miles then. I have in my file the complete Audi tech service bulletin that outlines the procedure including parts and step by step instructions. While I believe it should be available thru Audi, if you send me an address, I can forward a copy.

Personally, I thought the conversion was the way to go. These are the 92 V8 parts grafted on to our vehicle. Eliminating the bi-metal construction of the UFO disc is a critical issue. As I have sold brakes professionally for some thirty years now, I can tell you that these two piece welded assemblies have issues. Just ask a 1990's era Ford Taurus owner... K-H created one for Ford and warpage became a big issue due to extra critical wheel tightening procedures. Service techs were over-torquing wheel bolts and warping these rotors. Our situation is a bit different, but it is an overly complicated design. I never lacked for stopping force when using the Pagid pads.
