Shipping a Car Cross Country

Perhaps.  Do you think that would be less risky than having the car
shipped, though?  There are arguably fewer variables in using a
shipping company vs. having an enthusiast drive the car.  Not to
mention the miles it puts on the car, and the potential for soured
relationships if things don't work out as planned.  At least when it's
a company that screws up, it's a "nameless, faceless" organization to
rail against.
