Just talked to the guys at my local NAPA and they have premade Euro OEM
brake lines in lengths from 8" to 60" and female tees and straights to use
to bypass all that junk if I choose to do that. I am mostly on the side of
getting rid of things that get in the way of braking. I used there stuff to
do one repair years ago. That is the only line back there that is still
looking OK.
The yoke on my car is not going to come off without a Sawzall, which is what
I am looking at. I could probably sneak a Dremel up there for the cut but I
am going to cut the exhaust and remove a bunch of stuff just so I can get at
some things that need to be removed, cleaned, painted...

aluminum proportioning valve block, stainless steel piston, hardened steel
spring, soft steel brake lines, this is galvanic corrosion waiting to
happen.
Mine was a big gob of cauliflower. I cut the whole thing out and put in a
"tee". Done. Did it with both my 20v's. It has ABS. either with or
without the proportioning valve, when that circuit operates, both brakes
will experience a loss of brake pressure because they're on the same
circuit. full braking with both rear wheels. The back has never locked up
before the front on my car.
As for the yoke with the two e-brake cables, I was able to squeeze a hand up
there with a 10mm deep socket. I have a stebro st. st. exhaust on both
cars, and i think they give sufficient room to work above on the e-brake
adjustment rod. It is a pain. I agree with the parafin, as the next time I
get under there it'll be one big gob of rust. yay.
