Avant window trim

Had I kept my Avant, I would have removed the black from the chrome  trim 
on the lower section and used a black UV stable bead of chalk to seal it to  
the window.  Or I would have just removed the black and left the  chrome.

Impex has pricing but no avialability. This is a known week spot  on the
exterior of these cars. Is there some aftermarket solution?
