If you find an /84, it's a smooth vinyl material that does not seem to fall
down. I have a parts car that it still looks new in. Otherwise, your
options are listed below. Or, you can have it recovered in something else.
A lot of the guys with newer Audi's use Alcantara, which is the fake suede
that was used in the seats of special edition 5000's.

BTW, before you take it out, staple or thumb tack the headliner material
up. Trust me, you don't want to try to clean that cheeto stuff off the
upholstery/carpet. BTDT, no fun at all!
