1991 Audi 200 Quattro 20 Valve rack

I put one in my 200 8 months before I sold it.  Got a recommendation  from 
some one on this list.  Good people to deal with.  Rack probably  has only 
30k on it with the miles I put on and the new owner.  No  problems.

i just got this response from jorgen. my friend  shayne swears by their 
reman racks (has them on his family's V8Q, 200q20v and  URS4). he has yet to 
have one of them crap out:

Robby - that should be  a perfect interchange - shipping to California 
(which would include a return  shipping label for the core) is $34.98 - please 
reference quote 35804 -the  reman process is a total teardown to component 
parts, a careful measuring of  all seal shafts and a replacement of all 
internal seals.  Our process for  the main shaft surface uses a diamond burnishing 
tool to provide the extreme  smoothness that the ZF engineered teflon inner 
rack seals demand - I don't  think any other rebuilder does that - and we 
see it as essential.  Every  unit comes with a lifetime warranty and $150 in

Their P54443  will also work. The /A probably indicates the high pressure 
rod seal is in the  newer cartridge housing, but no better, still uses the 
same poorly designed  seal element.  What’s their warranty?
