Jay-
Try putting a small butane torch on the plug for about 3-4 minutes. You can
get one with nozell and tank of butane for $20 at most hardware stores.
Then put your socket key in the plug and give it a good smack or 3 with a
brass hammer. Don't kill it. Then put a long breaker bar on it and while
holding the key squarely in the plug, torque it free. Try heating it a
little longer if this doesn't give good results. Don't worry, you won't
melt seals. I've also soaked with penetrating oil after heating and
smacking, then repeated the process a day later.
Just be very very careful not to strip out the key. If you do, it's
drillin' time :)
Doc-
3B Avant with a silly 034EFI turbo and 2bennett coil overs.
