There is a variety of headliner adhesives. I have used it. It usually works.

Subject: Fw: Sagging headliner
hi all,
i was so proud of my car that after 23 years, the headliner was still tight.
well, a month ago, i get in to go for a spin... and i look through the
rear-view mirror and was like "DAMN IT!". it's sagging at the rear window.
i'm assuming the only fix is to remove the headliner and send it out to an
auto upholstery shop? replacing it with another "good headliner"... will
only sag soon enough again anyways, right?
curious what y'all do with this malady.
Regards,
Robby
